Nemrud Mount and Tours

Nemrut Mountain National Park is located in the Kahta district of Adıyaman province. It contains the ancient city of the Kingdom of Commagene. You can reach it by following the road leading to Kahta from Adıyaman city center. The National Park is located within the borders of Adiyaman province. Reaching this place from Adiyaman Airport is very easy. You can go to Nemrut Mountain with special vehicles from Adıyaman and Kahta districts.

The most suitable season for the exit to Nemrut Mountain is between May 15th and October 15th. This is the best time for watching sunrise and sunset.

Nemrut Tours
There is a three-tour style: Long, normal and short tours.

Long Tour:
To watch the sunrise, the tour is starting from Adıyaman at 02:00 clock. Following the birth of the sun on Mount Nemrut, Arsameia, Yeni Kale, Cendere Bridge and Karakuş Tumulus are visited. This tour takes about 5-6 hours. If you want to watch sunset of the sun, It is advisable to leave at 14.00 am from Adıyaman and 14.30 am from Kahta.

Short Tour:
This tour only covers Mount Nemrut. This tour takes about 4-4.5 hours because The Commagene Civilization is out of this tour.

Normal Tour:
It is a tour that does not include sunrise and sunset. The tour usually starts in the morning.
